Some thoughts about Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #4

The culprit of K'un Lun's destruction might be the man who first brought Danny to that place.

Danny remembers how he was explaining his abilities to his new girlfriend while he starts having vision about the events that were going to occur in the future so he could be prepared for the enemy he's about to face. Sadly, that might not be enough to face him.

This is simply a greatly told issue from any perspective.

First things first, let's talk about the story. Kaare Andrews focuses mostly on a flashback to Danny's first night accompanied by his new girldfriend and utilizes this segment to explore how Danny's skills work and creates a pretty good atmosphere where both characters have some really interesting moments.

The narration certainly helps to set the tone, the dialogue is quite inventive and unique, it definitely creates a sense of surrealism to each scene, especially the ones focusing on supernatural events like Danny's vision or his fight against his current enemy.

Andrews' artwork complement his script perfectly and makes it even better. His style is quite experimental and appealing that makes the shocking moments much more surprising.

One of the best issues from this series yet and one of the best Marvel series currently.
