What happened to the habitants of Earth 2? What does Cadmus wants from Grifter? Is Storwatch truly dead? The future continues to be in danger.
Once again, this issue manages to create good character beats but not enough story progression.
The segments that work, work quite good. The moments from the members from Cadmus including Grfter, Deathstroke and Fifty Sue are pretty nice, their interaction is really well-done and they create a new vision for Grifter's powers that makes a lot of sense and present a lot of potential for the future.
However, it seems like we keep receiving more teases about upcoming plot-points than proper answersand while those moments are not bad and most of them are solidly executed I feel that this series is still not delivering enough.
The best part from this issue was undoubtly Patrick Zircher's artwork who manages to make every moment worthy thanks to his attention to detail, beautiful characters and detailed storytelling.
Decent issue but I still wish that the plot was getting somewhere.
