Can Power Girl and Huntress go back to their own world?
Actually they can and they did! But just in the very last page so don't let this cover trick you into believing that something actually important was going to happen.
Ah Worlds' Blandest, what would my life be without you? You continue to be one of the most boring titles from the stands currently but you're so consistent at it that you simply bring me joy everytime that I tear you apart.
I can't believe that you actually want to make people think that anything epic can occur here. This is basically the same story that has been told in the past 20+ issues from this series: Helena and Karen discuss over random stuff, Karen says that Helena is too serious, Helena says that Karen is too irresponsible (and she is, don't get me wrong but it's pretty repetitive already) and then go to do some random superheroics. The End.
Although it wouldn't be fair if I said that nothing absolutely happened here. As I mentioned before, theywent back to Earth 2 at the end and there's a sub-plot about Power Girl giving one of her workers an object that will most likely make her gain superpowers since Paul Levitz teased that she was going to be a new hero. I would care if the girl would have been actually developed as a character.
There are some other strange segments that I just don't undertand like, when the hell did Helena gained superpowers? She throwed a fork to Karen that broke the wall! How did she do that?!
As usual the best aspect of this book is the art and this time is no different thanks to Tyler Kirkham's work which is quite good and makes the heroines pretty attractive while depicting the action scenes really well.
Mediocre issue but hey, what else can you expect?
