Some thoughts about Transformers #4

The investigation continues.

Chromia and Windblade are looking for people who might be connected to the murder of Brainstorm. Meanwhile, Orion Pax is trying to prevent things to get any worse.

This is another slow issue but gets the job done in some regards.

Brian Ruckley brings another chapter where he starts setting-up pieces for what's about to happen. Once again, the natural dialogue works in his favor to create a fairly realistic investigation during the scenes that feature characters like Chromia and Windblade while also creating a political confict for the rest of the cast concerning the current threat in a way that doesn't feel forced. This is something that is not as easy to do as it seems and the writer provides solid interactions between the characters as a whole.

That being said, the issue doesn't offer much content in terms of progression, it was mostly about the dynamic that occurs between the cast. There's still stuff to appreciate here like the development that, while little, it still works appropriately.

Sara Pitre-Durocher, Angel Hernandez and Andrew Griffith handle the art and is cool to see prominent artists like Pitre-Durocher and Griffith back here, they all maintain a consistent style over the course of the read and speaking as a fan of the toys, I'm glad they're represented in a good way here.

Not bad, just hope the next one offers more progress.
