The truth about Grimlock is revealed.
The Scavengers have been traveling along with the lost Dinobot for a while but once that Scorponok arrives, Grimlock's memories might be reactivated and nobody will be safe after it.
This was a much better issue than the last one actually.
James Roberts starts a new little story focusing on fan-favorite incompetent team, The Scavengers which finally manages to deliver some answers about one of their most important members. The characterization is great thanks to the inclusion of Nickel whose forced encounter with the team brings entertaining interactions between the cast, not to mention that it creates solid parallels with her past relationship with the DJD.
The best part is all about Grimlock though since Roberts develops the long-recurring plot-point about what happened to him which goes way back from his time in Garrus 9 during Last Stand of the Wreckers, is great to finally have an explanation about his current state and Scorponok's involvement makes things even more interesting since he has always been one of the best villains from the Transformers universe. The ending is also quite surprising.
Sara Pitre-Durocher handles the art and is pretty solid thanks to her beautiful style although the scale between the characters can be a bit off.
Good stuff overall, hope the next chapter arrives soon.
