Can Harley Quinn enact justice in a new place?
Harley has decided to stay away from her friends and home and there's no better way but start a new career as a mercenary but this could bring its own sort of problems.
Well, this worked better than the last couple of issues.
Frank Tieri offers a new installment where he focuses on this new direction for Harley's life and while it does use many Batman characters, at least uses it in an entertaining way. The tone of this chapter is much more akin to the one from Palmiotti and Conner's run, meaning more fun violence and comedic elements. Tieri's sense of humour has always been solid and this story shines the most when he exploits that side.
The use of Batvillains is also entertaining thanks to how a few characters like the Penguin and Killer Croc are included into the plot, hopefully they will be developed even further in upcoming issues. I have some complaints though, this issue felt like a pretty fast read overall, it was fun but it didn't last long.
Mirka Andolfo's artwork might be even a better fit here than Inaki Miranda's due to her more vibrant and cartoony look that gets the best from every scene.
Solid as a whole, hope it continues this way.
