Is this the end of The Scavengers?
Scorponok is ready to recreate the Decepticon army in his own way and to do that, he will have to get rid of the only people in his way.
Well, this was a pretty solid conclusion for this little story.
James Roberts delivers the final fate of The Scavengers (at least for now) in a way that plays with the usual strenghts of this team and book. The sense of family that these characters have gained over the course of their journey is perfectly demonstrated here while the little moments that offer insights in their unique personalities is clearly depicted. I personally loved how Grimlock and Misfire's friendship was developed while little hints of Fulcrum's racism against organics show how even likable characters can have bad traits.
The plot progression is once again solidly done due that Roberts brings closure to this particular story but at the same time plants the seeds for many other stories based on the different plot-points he's creating. Some characters are gone but their stories are from over.
Brendan Cahill and Sara Pitre-Durocher remain in art duties and their work is really solid thanks to the semi-cartoony style and decent storytelling.
Good read overall, please continue this way.
