Can someone stop the damage?
Ethan has found himself turned into a monster and is constantly fighting against its influence. Things will get worse once that the Suicide Squad comes for him.
A new issue and this one worked a little better at least.
Robert Venditti offers a new installment where he explores more of the nature of Ethan's abilities as well as his own character. This is good because I feel like those aspects, particularly Ethan's portrayal, were lacking in the first issue and it gave you very little reason to care for him, here he's presented much more sympathetic and likable although not with much personality yet but his situation as a homeless man is an interesting one and I hope keeps being explored in the future.
The action scenes are well-paced while the plot in the background keeps progressing although this issue still commits a few of the mistakes from the last one by not giving us many answers about what is actually happening with this organization nor their true plans for Ethan.
Tony Daniel remains in art duties and his work is still impressive with beautiful characters and intense action scenes.
Getting better but I hope we get more revelations in the next one.
