Some thoughts about Suicide Squad #6

How can the Suicide Squad defeat one of the world's greatest heroes?

Deadshot and the rest of his team have arrived to Gotham City and that means they will have to face Batman which won't end well for anyone here.

Probably one of the most entertaining issues yet.

Tom Taylor continues his story without rest by this time transporting the team to Gotham and facing the consequences for it. The early pages are full of humour by themselves due that the team finally get rid of what tied them to the government but this is all set-up for the upcoming encounter with Batman and that's where the real fun starts.

Yes, despite that this issue features the Dark Knight, Taylor does a good job at making this mostly a lighthearted story due to the well-implemented jokes concerning the character and how the rest of the cast react to him. Even Deadshot gets an interesting fight with Batman which makes sense considering Bruce was the first hero Floyd fought (then again, I'm not really sure if this was Taylor's intention considering his lack of attention to continuity) and the resolution he gets feels approriate.

Bruno Redondo remains in art duties and his work continues to impress with expressive characters and a clean style that follows the script perfectly.

Great read, hope the next one is just as good.
