Some thoughts about Batman/Superman #9

Who is hunting Batman and Superman now?

The Atomic Skull has appeared in Gotham City and Bruce believes there's something else going on behind the reformed villain's action.

About damn time this series appeared again.

Joshua Williamson opens a new storyline with a pretty interesting set-up. The author demonstrates once again his respect for continuity by referencing a lot of the history of the Atomic Skull (at least recent one) including his time he served the Metropolis P.D. and his friendship with Maggie Sawyer which allows for some depth to his quick appearance.

The plot is mostly centered around that but also about planting the plot-point concerning a bigger force who was manipulating the Atomic Skull and is planning to do something even worse. The little moments between Bruce and Clark remain on-point.

Clayton Henry handles the art and he offers a pretty fluid style with strong action scenes and clear storytelling.

Good read, hope the next one arrives soon.
