Ms. Marvel's final battle with The Inventor is about to start and everyone is at risk.
Kamala's best friend has been kidnapped by the mad scientist and he's decided to use her and a lot of other teenagers in his favor. Now to defeat him, Kamala will have to use all the help she can get.
This issue officially marks the conclusion of this little arc and I must say that it delivered in its promise.
G. Willow Wilson brings an ingenious script where she continues to demonstrate the kind of character who Kamala is while also exploiting the kind of tone that has been established on this book.
The way how The Inventor is defeated is pretty hilarious considering how mundane it ends-up being (although his fate is something that I won't mention to avoid spoilers), it obviously plays with the kind of style that has been used in previous chapters.
Plus, it was good to see several characters introduced previously interfering in the plot. The development has been progressing nicely.
Adrian Alphona is on art duties and his art continues to as unique as usual with some really expressive character while managing to capture both the comedic and action scenes perfectly.
Satisfying installment, once again recommended.
