Circe is decided to take revenge on Diana due to her mother's actions and is bringing Magog to destroy both Clark and her. Even if they manage to defeat one of them the dangers are barely starting.
Well, I would say this was an improvement over the previous chapter.
Peter Tomasi's characterization is pretty solid in this chapter due that he uses a lot of previous events from Wonder Woman's life and how those actually connect to current attack by Circe. It's an interesting angle overal.
The relationship between the protagonists is also well represented with subtle aspects being depicted in some scenes.
The artwork is especially gorgeous with Ed Benes handling the flashback segments and Doug Mahnke drawing the main plot. Mahnke's work is particularly great due that he delivers a lot of beautiful and strong moments.
Solid issue overall, hope that it continues this way.
