After discovering a monster who has been murdering people, Diana is starting to feel like she can't control herself. That could be the worse thing that happens to her right now due that her role is about to be taken by someone as strong as her.
Okay, this didn't really work out for me.
The main problem is Meredith Finch's narration which can be pretty awkward and heavyhanded especially in the scene where Diana starts to beat the monster to death while saying all the things she represents. It takes me out of the story due that it becomes kinda goofy.
The rest of the issue works a little better. The final scenes where she has to face Donna Troy for the mantle of Queen of the Amazons is nice but it doesn't save the issue from the early bad aspects.
David Finch's artwork is uneven at times with wonky anatomies and character faces. The action is well depicted though.
Yeah, this was bad. I'm not expecting much from this run so far.
