Some thoughts about Justice League Dark #39

The Justice League Dark is still trying to survive the mysteries of the universe.

After all the constant battles they had to endure, the team is currently in one of their worst times and no other member has reflected that change than Zatanna who is ready to stop fighting.

The worldbuilding continues I see.

J.M. DeMatteis' story is obviously coming to an end and is pretty good to see that the writer is exploiting the last issues that remain to continue expanding the dark corner of the DCU.

Interesting concepts and strong character moments are being presented, especially concerning Deadman who has quickly demonstrated that he's the most competent and versatile member of the cast. He has certainly been one of the most developed characters from this run.

Although, I hope that there's more than meets the eye about what happened to Zatanna at the end.

Andres Guinaldo is on art duties and while his work suffers a bit in character models, his work is much better suited in supernatural beings and settings.

Solid issue overall, hoping for the better for the conclusion.
