Some thoughts about Justice League 3000 #14

What's the story behind the survival of Ice?

Tora has been alive for centuries but no one is really sure how is that possible. Now, she will be forced to tell what happened during all those years to understand the dangers that are about to come.

Holy crap, I was pleasently surprised by this one.

Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis explore the tale about Tora's life and how she has spent all this time. Believe it or not, this is actually connected to the story arc "I Can't Believe it's not the Justice League" from a few years ago so it's apparently part of that same universe where the Justice League International didn't have the ending from the regular DCU.

Plus, this issue was full of content. There is not only a huge section dedicated to Ice's story but also a section focusing on Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, some scenes with the Injustice League and more of the usual characterization for the rest of the cast.

Also, the last page was quite the twist, I didn't see the appearance of that character coming.

The art is brought by Andy Khun and while his work might look a bit unrefined at times, it certainly has some strong storytelling details.

Fantastic issue and one of my favorites.
