Some thoughts about Gotham Academy #5

The secrets inside of Gotham Academy could be stranger than anyone imagined.

Olive has just met Killer Croc who surprisingly seems to know more about her mother and to investigate more about it she will have to go through the academy's dance and discover more about the mysterious who has appeared lately.

What can I say? I continue to be impressed.

Becky Cloonan and Brenden Fletcher continue their story about the mysteries inside of the school and how they're strangely connected to the rest of Gotham City and their mythos. Killer Croc is certainly an interesting character to add and he seems much more likable than recent incarnations I might add.

The cast continues to be enjoyable with everyone being developed along the way. Plus, it was surprised to see one of them turning to be something completely different from what I was expecting.

Karl Kerschl's artwork is glorious. He continues to deliver a wonderful setting full of details with beautiful characters and a huge sense of scale.

Excellent issue. Probably the best Batbook from this week.
