Can Ms. Marvel survive Valentines Day?
After the most recent attack of The Inventor, Loki has been assigned to help New Jersey and he's ready to make every kid confess if they have some secret plans to cause more danger. Now, Kamala will have to deal with the least thing she was expecting on this day.
Oh, this was such a charming little story.
G. Willow Wilson developes an entertaining tale where she includes Loki and manages to use him perfectly based on the kind of character he is. The God of Mischief causing mayhem in Valentines Day is a quite fun premise and is definitely exploited here.
I also enjoyed how he was continually called "Hipster viking" since that's exactly what he is. Plus, his plans to make every person in high school say the truth creates lots of fun moments.
Kamala is also well portrayed of course and I really love how naive and adorable she acts in this kind of scenario. The resolve was also nicely done.
The art is provided by Elmo Bondoc and his work is surprisingly fitting for this series thanks to its unique, expressive and detailed style.
Great issue, definitely recommended.
