Can the Justice League Dark face Wonder Woman?
Diana has been controlled by Hecate and now is willing to destroy her own teammates and this could mean the end of everyone.
Penultimate chapter and things are not getting exactly better.
James Tynion IV continues this crossover by revealing more of the nature of this attack but not in the most effective way. The author explores what happens to Diana once that she loses control of her own body because of Hecate's powers while also reveals that the same is happening to Black Orchid and Manitou Dawn and this is interesting enough. The thing is that all of this concepts makes me fear for the fate of some of these characters, particularly because of the revelation at the end which would be a big disservice to fans and this includes myself since I grew fond of Black Orchid during the last Justice League Dark series.
There's some decent although derivative character work here concerning Constantine due that one of his usual illnesses is back but considering that he has gotten better in the past, I don't worry too much about him. There's more content as well this time but at the same time, the pacing remains to be problematic and the third person narration is still obtuse.
Emanuela Luppachino's artwork remains beautiful although is not up there with some of her best efforts and that might because of the nature of the crossover.
Not liking this so far but let's see how it ends.
