Who is the KGBeast?
Dick has just been shot and Bruce is investigating the culprit which could lead him to one of the most dangerous men alive.
I guess this is a bit of an improvement but not by much.
Tom King offers a new installment where he plays with the terrible ramifications of the last one. Batman is trying to find out who shot Nightwing and most of the issue is dedicated to such case as well as learning more about the culprit, KGBeast. Mind you, there are a few aspects that I like here like how King is trying to give the villain more depth while also including other classic characters to give his background more context while presenting interesting situations at the same time.
That being said, I think that King might be going a bit too far by presenting KGBeast as this overly-competent killer that not even Batman can face considering that he did face him in the past (most notably during Scott Snyder's All-Star Batman). Not to mention that this kind of depiction reaches the level of a Mary Sue-ish portrayal to the point that is almost unbelievable. The background was fine enough, don't think all of this was necessary.
Also, Bronze Tiger's dialogue is just awful, he talks like any typical guy. King simply doesn't know how to write him.
Tony Daniel's artwork is really good though thanks to his beautiful characters ans style.
Not bad but not good either, let's see where it goes.
