Who is Jagger's next target?
Jagger has been trained all her life to become one of the greatest killers in the world but now she will be forced to face someone she doesn't want to kill.
Another short, yet entertaining chapter.
As I mentioned before, this book has been the most pleasent surprise from the Jinxworld line and this issue follows that trend. Brian Bendis continues Jagger's story by offering a surprising ramification of the terrible life she chose, the events that happen in this installment puts in context everything that happened in the first one, especially the relationship between Jagger and her uncle and how nobody is really safe in this story. Is pretty sad how things ended-up but at the same time, I'm shocked at how far this book can go.
The story itself doesn't progress much but it does offer a bigger look into this violent world while at the same time preparing us for following stories due to the introduction to a few key characters that will definitely play an important role in the future.
Michael Avon Oeming's artwork is once again one of the biggest reasons why I like this book so much. His flexible and cartoony style allows for a lot of emotion in the different scenes and the storytelling is perfect.
Great read, more like this please.
