The Green Lanterns will have to save the same alien race again.
The Ungarians are starting to have trouble sharing their planet with other races and both Simon and Jess will have to find a way to end their conflict without knowing that their closest allies are their enemies.
This run continues and in a pretty compelling way.
Tim Seeley offers a new chapter where he uses some of the concepts he created in his first arc, particularly the development of two alien races sharing the same world. There's interesting social commentary that is classic from this sort of stories concerning xenophobia and it makes sense considering the situation that the people are living right now.
The character work is once again pretty solid due that Seeley understands perfectly how both Jess and Simon behave and their respective reaction about the current predicament is pretty logical too. The story also presents solid twist towards the end which turns a pretty predictable route into an unexpected one.
Carlo Barberi handles the art and is once again really appealing thanks to his vibrant style and detailed characters.
Good stuff, more like this please.
