Nightwing's hope is fading.
Dick is starting to lose the trust of his former friends and now even his own son might be against him so is up to the greatest hero in the world to save the day.
This worked pretty nicely.
Kyle Higgins continues the story about his own vision of a dystopian future in the DCU by delivering yet another character-centric chapter. As usual, the characterization and relationships remain the highlight of the story due to the interesting conversations the cast have that offer compelling dilemmas and understandable explanations about why things ended the way they did.
The plot also offers some surprises like the inclusion of Superman which at points might have a resemblance to the event in Injustice but Higgins still takes the character into a different direction and this allows to a more profound exploration of the events that transcurred.
Trevor McCarthy's artwork is still quite distinctive and detailed thanks to his vibrant style and beautiful characters.
Solid issue, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
