Everyone has their own plans.
Prowl has returned and he's decided to make everyone follow his way, including his former allies.
The erratic nature of this book never ends.
John Barber delivers a new installment where he tries to progress both the plot and the characterization and doesn't really do a good job at neither. The main problem that I see here is the usual, Barber handles too many different segments and characters but he's not able to distribute such scenes adequately and for that reason the pacing can be problematic.
But even that could be forgivable if the whole issue wasn't so dull. Neither the character work nor plot progression is interesting, Barber unfortunately doesn't have the skill to handle these multiple developments. It would be better if he concentrated on smaller stories and just a few characters in each installment instead of forcing a huge amount of things happening in a single chapter.
Livio Ramondelli handles the art and is hit and miss, I tend to like the imposing nature of his style but at the same time, the storytelling can be wonky.
Ugh, not sure what will happen next, I just wish it was better.
