Some thoughts about Justice League of America #20

Has the Justice League met their match?

Prometheus is about to beat the entire team and they're about to find something terrible about one of them.

The answer is no, they haven't and is a complete disappointment.

Steve Orlando concludes this unimportant story in a pretty underwhelming way. The way how Prometheus is defeats is frustratingly quick, not to mention that Orlando makes him much more pathetic than usual by breaking too easily and not really planning his way out of this. Also, the idea that "anyone can be part of the Justice League" makes no sense since this team consists mostly of superpowered people.

Oh, and the story focuses too on Killer Frost's ordeal which is not that interesting to be honest. There are some redeemable points about The Ray's segments since his city seems pretty interesting but is not enough to save the issue.

Hugo Petrus handles the art and is decent enough in terms of storytelling but is not particularly pretty.

I said that I wouldn't continue with this but I actually want to see more of The Ray's story. Wish he had his own series instead.
