Is there any hope in the universe?
Superman and Batman have been captured for a long time and now they will have to find the way to escape and save their loved ones but even their combined forces might not be enough.
Well, a decently packed chapter overall.
Scott Snyder continues his biggest event yet (which should be released more frequently since it has took more time than it should) by bringing a new installment full of the usual aspects of it. The characterization is pretty solid, particularly from Bruce and Clark's perspective since Snyder seems to understand at least their most basic traits and puts them into an interesting direction to motivate them to keep going. Their interactions are solidly depicted.
The best part for me, as expected, are the different references to the vast DCU like the appearance of Neil Gaiman's Sandman and other mentions to alternate realities and stories that are pretty pleasent fanservice. This story also seems to be setting-up Mister Terrific as an expert on the Multiverse which makes sense considering his New 52 history and prepares him nicely for his upcoming book. The plot also progresses adequately enough.
Greg Capullo's artwork is quite good with beautiful characters, appealing style and lots of detail.
Enjoyable read, hope the next one arrives sooner.
