Deathstroke's old friends are returning as enemies.
Dr. Ikon is back from the dead and ready to enact his revenge on Slade but he's not going to let things go easy.
The story continues and is still touching quite strong themes.
Christopher Priest delivers a new installment where he developes Slade's inevitable return to villainy. The characterization is quite complex, particularly when it deals with what happens in Slade's mind and the internal conflict he has whenever he has to face whenever he encounters a new enemy, this is especially clear once that Jericho's old boyfriend, Dr. Ikon reappears.
The running plot-thread about Jericho's sexuality is obviously touched and quickly becomes the focus of the fight between Slade and Ikon but Priest still manages to give it a twist concerning what Slade actually thinks about it. The rest of Defiance also receive solid moments although I wish they would address the history between Terra and Slade instead of constantly hinting at it.
Diogenes Neves remains in art duties and his work is still quite good, most of the time at least. The storytelling and action are well-depicted although his faces can look a bit stiff at times.
Really entertaining, hope the next one arrives sooner.
