The men of Gotham City are about to get eradicated.
The Daughters are about kill half the population of the city unless the Birds of Prey find a cure for the virus.
This heavyhanded story concludes and is a mixed bag as a whole.
Julie and Shawna Benson bring the finale of this arc and is not really that satisfying. I've complained about the radical feminist villains and how blunt they can be to the point that they're highly unrealistic, they're basically a strawman antagonist and nothing good can come from that (and again, the same opinion goes to whenever writers handle "menimist" villains). The way how they're defeated makes sense at least but the overall theme this story goes for centered around how men are not bad is just so worthless that I don't even understand the need to emphasize it.
The good part comes from the interactions between the members of the team and again, that has always been the case for this book, particularly because of the many characters this story handles and makes me wish there was another plot focusing on them.
Roge Antonio handles the art and is pretty solid with a clean style and good looking characters.
Yeah, not sure how to feel about this, wish it was better overall.
