Some thoughts about Super Sons #11

Superboy is in danger.

The Teen Titans are deciding if they should accept Jon into their team but there's no time for that since Tim Drake came back from the future to kill him.

This wasn't as good as Superman but still worth a read.

Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason continue the crossover Super Sons of Tomorrow by delivering a chapter that works mostly as an interlude. The story is pretty much setting-up events that are about to happen which is pretty obvious considering how the first half of the issue is about the Teen Titans dealing with their usual villains in a lighthearted way.

The pacing starts escalating halfway though with Tim finally revealing his plans and threatening everyone which prepares the situation for the surprising twist at the end which at least makes me excited for the next chapter.

Ryan Benjamin handles the art and is not that good, it gets the job done but his characters are not really good looking and the storytelling is not the best either.

Overall, it lacks some of the strong character work and excitement from the last installment but at least works to prepare the next one. I hope that is better.
