Two Hawkeyes can be worse than one.
Clint and Kate are finally together again. Unfortunately, both will involve each other in their own problems.
This was as entertaining as I hoped for.
Kelly Thompson offers a story she has been teasing since the beginning of this book. As you might recall, I really loved the Generations tie-in that explored the dynamic between Kate and Clint and this issue deals with several of the same topics, even a few ideas that were explored during that story. The character work is once again quite good thanks to how the author understands both character and the strong relationship they share, they're basically brother and sister and they work really well as that.
Best of all is the dialogue, it continues to be natural with the classic dose of jokes that you can expect. The story is nothing much to write about but once again, it doesn't take itself seriously and that makes it much more acceptable, although it can have its own serious moments, particularly at the end.
Leonardo Romero remains in art duties and his work is strong as ever thanks to his distinctive style that gets the best from expressions and storytelling.
Great read, hope the next chapter arrives soon.
