Some thoughts about Justice League #6

The Justice League is about to lose.

Luthor's plans are defeating each hero and now their only choice is have hope in their whole planet.

Some of the usual good and bad aspects.

For one, I do dig the cosmic direction that Scott Snyder is creating. It certainly continues to give the team the kind of huge in scope threats they require while also delivering decent characterization for most of the cast. Even villains like Lex Luthor and the Joker receive a few interesting moments that can be a bit on the nose but they also seem accurate for the most part. The pacing is also pretty solid and escalates appropriately towards the interesting ending.

However, the narration can still be problematic. The third person narration is just too out of place and I believe it could have been replaced with a more natural way of exposition, it just feels really overwritten and speaking of which, the dialogue can also suffer from the same issues due that it says more than it should at times.

Jorge Jimenez' artwork is amazing though. Really energetic, fluid and powerful, perfect for the scope of the story.

Not bad, not great, hope the conclusion is good at least.
