Some thoughts about The Silencer Annual #1

What prompted The Silencer to leave her career?

Honor can't help but remember how her last case lead her straight into the life she always wanted and will do everything in her power to protect it.

This one worked much better admitedly.

Dan Abnett uses this Annual to explore the last proper mission The Silencer had as part of Leviathan. The characterization is pretty solid thanks to understandable development that Honor receives over the course of the story and this is especially because of the inclusion of Batman. While the appearance of the Dark Knight is usually used to increase the sales of lesser-known title, here it makes more sense because both characters are connected because of Talia and the reason behind is really logical.

The action is really well-paced and the battle between both The Silencer and Batman goes to a logical conclusion and ultimately leads to a few sub-plots that have been explored in previous issues and will also be further developed in upcoming ones.

Jack Herbert handles the art and is really solid thanks to the expressive characters and strong action scenes.

Solid read, hope things continue to improve.
