Who can help Batman with his depression?
Nightwing is fighting alongside Bruce against some of his most ridiculous villains and that might be what he needed all along.
Well, colour me surprised, this was actually enjoyable.
Tom King offers an one-and-done story focusing on the ramifications from Batman's frustrated wedding as well as his relationship with Dick Grayson. One of King's classic tricks is playing with the contrast between two segments and this time is divided between the past and the present and helps us to understand both of them.
The flashbacks shows us the parallels between the early bitter days of Dick Grayson after the loss of his parents and how Bruce was always there to help him get better and this works wonderfully to show how Nightwing is now there for Batman to help him get over his loss. Is short, effective and actually gets straight to the point without any BS like most stories from this book.
Matt Wagner handles the art and is pretty solid, particularly because of the expressions and storytelling.
Finally a good read although I'm not sure what to expect next.
