Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #54

Wonder Woman will have to fight her sisters once again.

Bana-Mighdall has received Diana and Atalanta with open arms but as usual, nothing is as simple as it appears.

This is still pretty interesting thankfully.

Steve Orlando delivers a new installment where he explores a brand new city. Bana-Mighdall's status quo is quickly revealed and proves to be quite compelling and works nicely as a contrast to Themyscira. Orlando also implements his knowledge of past DC events in his favor by reintroducing Rustam in a way that makes sense based on his history and his connection to this particular side of the world.

The plot progresses at a nice pace offering surprise after surprise and making characters change sides constantly while offering a pretty exciting cliffhanger towards the end. This also creates a lot of content for the issue and definitely making your money worth.

Raul Allen and Patricia Martin handle the art and is gorgeous thanks to their unique style and strong storytelling that gets the best from every scene.

Solid read. Hope the story has a good conclusion,
