The Titans will have to face old enemies.
The Blood Cult have revealed themselves and now the team will have to fight for their lives while also learning more about each others.
Once again, I believe this is working quite well.
Dan Abnett delivers a new installment where he explores the new concepts he has been developing in this new direction. As we learned in the last chapter, there's a new leader of the Blood Cult named Mother Blood and this allows for different and more dangerous versions of the classic TT antagonists and fit perfectly in this route heavily focused on Metahumans.
The characterization is also pretty solid due that Abnett uses classic development tools to give more to the cast. Here we discover that Donna is dealing with her problems in not the best way possible while Miss Martian is trying to hide her true self from the others. This is the typical soap opera concepts you can expect from this book except this time they're better executed than during Abnett's own previous attempt.
Brent Peeples handles the art and is a bit unrefined in terms of characters but follows the story decently at least.
Good read, please keep being solid.
