Harley Quinn can always take more craziness in her life.
Harley is having as usual with her loved ones until a strange creature appears in front of her and she will have no choice but help him get back home.
This is exactly what The Joker/Daffy Duck Special should have been, pure fun.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner return to the character they established and I must say that I have been missing them a lot. Their writing style is immediately recognizable and charming. There are constant jokes everywhere but they never feel out of place and they're pretty funny overall. The addition of Gossamer brings a lot of fun into the mix and creates an interesting dynamic.
Best of all is that the writers bring the heart to the title once again and this is particularly obvious in the relationships Harley has with the rest of the cast including her old friend/lover Poison Ivy, the rest of her friends and Gosammer himself who is pretty much treated like a little child and makes the reunion with his father heartwarming in a sense.
Pier Brito's artwork is great and allows for many expressive characters, detailed settings and strong storytelling.
The second feature written by Sholly Fisch with an even more cartoony tone playing with the classic monster story about Gossamer and is pretty fun overall. Dave Alvarez' art is pretty fitting as well.
Pretty good read, better than expected.
