The Challengers could finally defeat the unknown.
Prof was brought to this Multiverse with a single purpose in mind and all of this is connected to the New Challengers he helped to create.
Once again, this worked really solidly.
Aaron Gillespie and Scott Snyder continue to reveal more and more important points about the history of this team. This chapter is particularly focused on the Dark Multiverse, about how the Prof from that depressing reality escaped it to fulfill his own selfish ambitions and how everything is connected to the New Challengers he created. Best of all is that we're able to see other incarnations of the Challengers of the Unknown and while some points are confusing, they will hopefully continue to be developed in upcoming issues.
The story progresses at a nice pace by including a lot of key moments that offer more insight in the overarching plot and delivering a lot of content in the proccess. Not to mention that this gives a new different context to the "unknown".
V. Ken Marion handles the art and is really solid thanks to his vibrant and detailed style that follows Andy Kubert's tone perfectly.
Good read, hope the next one is even better.
