Deities are being murdered due to the new reign of the First Born and Diana will need all the help from the rest of her family if she wants to have a chance against the new King of the Gods but not even that could be enough.
I find funny how the quality of the title has been continually increasing now that we're closer to the end of Brian Azzarello's run.
Since the last few issues from this new arc, each chapter has been delivered much more content compared to the previous storyline and this issue is no different. The plot is progressing at a much faster pace now and it also continues to offer some really interesting concepts about the nature of the Gods in the world of Wonder Woman.
There are also classic Azzarello puns and at this point some people might find them a bit repetitive and while in some cases that's true, in others they're pretty fitting and helps to set the atmosphere.
Cliff Chiang does the breakdowns this time while Goran Sudzuka is in charge of finishing the artwork and the result is a pretty consistent and good looking style that suits the tone of the story perfectly.
Great issue, it will be a shame when this finally ends.
