The team will need to survive the attack of people who just want to claim what is rightfully theirs.
Aquaman and the Others are facing the descendants of the wizard who created the Atlantis artifacts which were robbed by Atlan, the Dead King. Now Arthur will have to do his best to try to stop them but not even he could be able to survive their attack.
I must say that I keep getting pleasently surprised about how enjoyable Dan Jurgens is making this series, it actually delivers in a lot fronts.
For one, the characterization is pretty good. Aquaman might be the one whose name is the most prominent on the title but it's actually more focused on the rest of the cast, every member receive some really good moments of character work while exploring who they really are and what are their personalities as well as their backgrounds.
Not to mention that I really enjoy how Jurgens is adding to the mythos by actually developing more the story behind the creation of the Atlantis artifacts as well as creating the potential for more of those weapons in the future.
The story progresses really well, there's no moment being wasted here. It either works for knowing more about the characters or to develope the plot, this issue is full of content and I'm glad that a series is succeeding on that point these days.
The art by Lan Medina continues to be quite good with great expressions for all the characters as well as good depiction of the action and events.
Another satisfying issue, I would dare to say that this is my favorite Aquaman title currently (and yes I'm shocked that I'm saying that).
