Recommendations from Comixology's Geoff Johns Superman Sale

Well, it seems like Comixology is already anticipating Geoff Johns upcoming run on the New 52 Superman title and so they're offering his previous run in the character. This mostly consisted on his work in Action Comics so I will mention storylines instead of titles this time for the recommendations:
  • Up, Up and Away!: This story is written by both Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek in the Action Comics and Superman books respectively. It's about the story Superman recovering his powers after the events in Infinite Crisis, really recommended as an starting point.
  • Last Son: This is the first story written completely by Johns and it's also one of his best consisting on the true "Last Son" of Krypton. Adam Kubert's artwork was beautiful here.
  • Escape From Bizarro World: A bizarre (Hey!) and really entertaining tale about Bizarro and the backward planet where he lives.
  • Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes: This is the story that actually made me interested in The Legion, it also had beautiful art by Gary Frank.
  • Brainiac: Johns did a pretty good job at updating Superman's enemy and it presents one of the most emotional moments in the history of the character at the end.
  • New Krypton: It only contains the beginning of the New Krypton saga since those were the issues the Johns wrote. The story had its ups and downs but Johns wrote the best parts of it.
There's also a couple of one-and-done issues, they're still really good. I hope that Johns' upcoming run is as good as this one.
