Can Ms. Marvel protect both her secret identity and her life at the same time?
Kamala is trying to figure what are the plans of the mysterious inventor but this might be more complicated than what she imagined, especially considering that her family is about to discover the reason why she has been disappearing these days.
This series simply makes me smile, is just so fun and charming.
G. Willow Wilson continues to deliver one of the most unique and realistic takes on the teen superhero genre by combining a different culture with the problems of being a heroine. Kamala is still the same adorkable girl and her development becomes more and more progressive with every issue.
This issue also featured some pretty entertaining moments featuring Kamala experimenting with her abilities and the different ways she can implement them. What follows are some pretty surrealistic scenes that you don't usually see in a comic book, at least not depicted this way.
But of course, such depiction wouldn't be possible without the wonderful pencils of Adrian Alphona who certainly seems to be having fun with this title due to the amount of heart and creativity he puts on each image. I think I have commented before that this series has a pretty "indie" feel and this issue is the perfect example of that.
Outstanding issue, can't get enough from this title.
