Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #32

Are the Outlaws able to deal with a terrorist group and live to tell the story? They obviously can.

Red Hood, Arsenal and Starfire have decided as usual to stick together no matter what could happen, although that mentality is about to be tested since S.H.A.D.E. has just discovered that might put the life of one of them in danger.

This issue marks the return of Scott Lobdell as the ongoing writer of this series and honestly, I didn't think I would miss him this much.

The writer automatically gets the characters' personalities as well as how they should be interact with each other as well as the unique relationship that exists between them. The dialogue helps to make this depiction and it works perfectly for it.

The story is a pretty insane one since the beginning of the issue, from a crazy cult of terrorists to a bizarre sci-fi threat, the plot becomes a quite energetic and strong ride. It's necessary to mention too that Lobdell takes this issue as the beginning of a new direction for the title and for that reason this introductory chapter becomes that much better and exciting.

R.B. Silva and Rafa Sandoval share pencils on this issue and they work is pretty consistent overall and follow a similar tone for the issue that depicts the adventure greatly.

Promising first issue definitely, good to know that Lobdell still has what it takes.
