The kids have made a plan but are they all willing to follow it?
Deathlocket is finally feeling like she's in control on herself and can start acting the way she always wanted even if that means becoming a supervillain. However, what she doesn't know is that the rest of her group have planned to take down the Masters of Evil and that could be the last thing that she wants at this point.
Great characterization and interesting conflicts, what more can you ask for?
This issue is a character-centric one focusing mostly in Deathlocket and how her personality has changed over the course of the events of Avengers Arena and the current series, it's actually a pretty interesting development for her and one that makes her character much more complex than how she initially appeared and present an interesting parallel to the rest of the group.
The other members of the cast sadly don't make an appearance aside from Chase, but this one also receives good moments and Dennis Hopeless bring some compelling insights about him too.
Timothy Green II is in charge of art duties and his work is splendid, his characters are really expressiver which makes the character moments much stronger and his style is also a pretty attractive one.
Another great issue from this series, I'm going to miss it when it's gone.
