Green Lantern and Hawkgirl know that they need to find The Flash if they want to stand a chance against the current invasion that is causing so much destruction. The deaths in Earth 2 keeps increasing and Val-Zod will have no other choice but to start taking action by himself.
How will Earth 2 survive all of this devastation?
That's the question I've been asking myself for a while. Tom Taylor continues to progress his story about one of the biggest disasters that the world had to face, the plot progresses adequately although I must say that it's a bit light of content, it felt like a pretty fast read.
On the other hand, some of the characters previous ignored are receiving some well-deserved time in the spotlight like Alan Scott and Jay Garrick. However, I must say that the dialogue was a little cliche at times, especially the line: "We're not trapped in here with them, they're trapped in here with us" which I suppose was to make Alan sound badass but it only made me think of Watchmen and all the other works that have been using such phrase.
The rest of the characters also receive a good amount of characterization like Batman and Jimmy Olsen, and Val finally embraces his "destiny" I suppose.
Eddy Barrows contributes with the pencils and while his work might not be as great as Nicola Scott's, is still pretty good with a lot of details for the setting and characters and depiction of the events.
Solid issue? I would say yes despite of some qualms.
