Some thoughts about Action Comics #32

Superman has just escaped from his prison but is he able to escape from Doomsday?

The rest from the heroes from earth are worried about Clark's state while the army is preparing some desperate measures to take him down. Clark is still trying to get himself free from the infection but a unfortunate course of events might turn things for the worst.

This is actually the first chapter of a mini arc called "Enemy of the State" inside of the "Doomed" crossover and based on the events of this issue, it's pretty obvious where it's going.

Greg Pak continues to do a fantastic job in this title concerning Superman's characterization. The author simply gets Clark's personality like few others in the New 52 and he's able to present some pretty good segments where the battle between the Superman and Doomsday personas become much more intense.

But not only that, other characters like Lex Luthor, Steel and even Metallo receive pretty good portrayals. All of that helps to make the story progress perfectly and sets the stage for this little storyline inside the crossover.

Scott Kolins replace Aaron Kuder as the penciller of this issue and he does a pretty good job at portraying both the emotional and action moments, his style is quite powerful and detailed.

Another great issue from this event, glad that is developing satisfactorily.
