Some thoughts about Justice League #20

What is the future of the Justice League?

The team has just met what appears to be their future selves but what they don't know is that Mr. Mxyzptlk knew more than what he told.

Well, this was enjoyable yet predictable.

Scott Snyder delivers a new installment of this storyarc and continues to explore this "possible" future of the Justice League. Once again, the worldbuilding is solid because the author manages to mix quite a few classic DC mythos to create an apparently rich world (Mind you, he also brings Perpetua, the mother of the Monitor and Anti-Monitor and is still lame as ever) while the future versions of the team seem adequate.

Too adequate in fact because as we all know, this is too good to be true and this is what I mean when I said "predictable" because the true outcome of this story has been known for a while now and thus, doesn't bring any new twist whatsoever. I mean, I would have also suspected even if the detailed wouldn't have been revealed before but this makes it a bit too blunt for my taste.

Jorge Jimenez' artwork is amazing, he knows how to depict settings with tons of beauty, detail and energy.

Okay read, hope the next one offers actual surprises though.
