Some thoughts about The Green Lantern #5

Can a Green Lantern change sides?

Hal is being tested by the Blackstars with some of the biggest ordeals he has ever faced and all of this to see if he can become one of them.

This story continues and while lacking a bit of content compared to previous entries, this issue is still an interesting read.

Grant Morrison delivers a new installment where he explores more of the character of Hal Jordan. Putting a classic test that tries to dominate his willpower, Morrison references many key moments of Hal's history and shows how he has overcome each and every one of them, and seems fairly accurate based on what he has lived.

The story progresses a bit by revealing the actual plans of the Guardians of the Universe and Hal's role in all of this while delivering an interesting cliffhanger focusing on Hal's new status quo.

Liam Sharp's artwork definitely works at depicting the most terrifying scenes of Hal's ordeal while creating a pretty somber tone during the whole read.

Decent enough, hope the next one offers more though.
