Some thoughts about Heroes in Crisis #2

Who is the culprit?

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are trying to figure out who committed all of these murders and the clues will lead them to both Harley Quinn and Booster Gold.

Well, at least there were no more deaths in this issue, at least not on-panel.

Tom King continues this story by showing us a bit more of the nature of Sanctuary as well as how this affects the Trinity. This is good due that I feel like the first issue was incredibly vague about what this place did and how it helped other people, then again, I feel like this should have been properly explained and explored in the opening chapter due that it was really bad for newcomers.

The Trinity also are depicted with this theme in mind and they show a few interesting aspects of their own psyche (better than the people who actually died at least) and allows readers to see a few new traits. That being said, the characterization for the rest of the cast is not as good, Booster continues to be portrayed as a clueless idiot who doesn't know what he needs to do and he just makes things worse and Harley somehow gets portrayed even more delusional than in her own book and considering that title is a COMEDY, well, this doesn't make her look good or contrast well with the overly-serious tone of the event.

The investigation itself is really dull to be honest. We don't even get actual intriguing or compelling hints about where this is going. The only thing that is hinted is new possible victims and really, that's the last thing this title needs. At least there's more content than in the previous chapter but considering the last one was pretty barebones, that's not saying much. Not to mention that the dialogue doesn't make this plot any easier to endure.

Clay Mann and Travis Moore share the pencils and their work is pretty solid during the whole read, maintaining a consistent style with beautiful characters and storytelling.

This is not good, probably not as bad as the last one but still not good. Dull at best.
