Some thoughts about Justice League #9

Can the Justice League save the planet once again?

The Coronavores are threatening to the people of Earth and now the team will have to find a way to stop them before is too late.

Despite that the issue is supposedly centered around these villains, the story is not that much about them.

Scott Snyder delivers an one-and-done story where he explores more about the different people in this team. Yes, this issue is mostly dedicated to the dynamics between the members of the team and in that regard, I believe it was successful. The interactions between the cast is solidly executed even though they're facing a relatively dangerous situation and allows for a lot of character development that shows how much these people know and care for each other.

The antagonists are decent enough but once again, they mostly serve as a sidenote to the different conversations between the cast which also develop their own sub-plots that will most likely be addressed in upcoming issues.

Jorge Jimenez' artwork is always pleasent to look at thanks to his expressive characters and vibrant style.

Decent issue overall, hope the next one offers more though.
