Some thoughts about Justice League #4

Is the Justice League doomed?

Lex Luthor's plans are coming into fruition and that includes all of the world's greatest villains whose collaboration could destroy the entire Multiverse.

Okay, this worked a bit better admitedly.

Scott Snyder delivers a new chapter where he escalates the danger to enormous levels. The way how the threat of the Legion of Doom keeps increasing is palpable and is solidly represented in the different segments where the villains start to make their moves. Characters like Gorilla Grodd, Sinestro, the Joker and Lex Luthor show what they're really able to do and their presence becomes much stronger because of that.

There is also the development from the new concepts that Snyder created like the Still Force and the Invisible Spectrum which, while no unique concepts by themselves, still work in terms of menace due that their powers greatly surpasses the heroes' and they're implemented in interesting ways that perfectly fit the epic nature of the book while reintroducing obscure characters like The Turtle in intriguing manners.

Jorge Jimenez returns to art duties and his work is still ideal for the title thanks to his energetic style that depicts all the cosmic events wonderfully.

Solid read overall, not even the third person narration bothered me so much this time.
