Some thoughts about Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #31

Can Hal Jordan save one of is greatest enemies?

Hal and Clark have just find out that Hector Hammond has been asking for help all this time and now both will have to face some of his greatest fears and dreams.

This little arc ends in a satisfying way.

Robert Venditti delivers a new installment where he focuses on the team-up between Green Lantern and Superman as well as delivering solid character moments for the two. It was cool to see a classic villain like Hector Hammond returning in an appropriate manner by using his telekinetic powers as the premise of the story which creates an interesting threat and plants the seeds for a few upcoming stories.

The character development that appears here is something that quite a few people have been waiting for and I hope that is revisited in the future considering how much that means for the protagonist. Superman also receives a few decent character scenes.

Patrick Zircher returns to art duties and his work is still quite solid with expressive and detailed characters along with precise storytelling.

Enjoyable overall, can't wait for the next one.
